This section brings together the academic, technical, and public-facing work that has helped shape the Statistical Justice project. It includes peer-reviewed and in-progress research, policy and technical documents, and opinion pieces written for wider public audiences. Together, these materials show how Statistical Justice is being developed across different forms of writing: through research, through institutional and policy analysis, and through public debate.

The project began from questions around gender identity, official statistics, and the failures of recognition built into state data systems.
